About the role
MarkGrid is a Two99 product and the proprietary marketing platform we're building at Two99. We're hiring an AI Video Creator & Designer who lives at the edge of generative video and design — someone who treats Sora, Veo, Runway, Kling, Midjourney, and whatever drops next month as native instruments, not novelties. This is not a "make a reel from a template" job. We want someone who can take a brand brief and turn it into video and design work that people actually remember a week later — work with a point of view, a style, and a craft signature. You'll work directly with the founder and shape how MarkGrid produces content for itself and for clients like Lee Kum Kee.
What you'll do
Make videos that last — Concept and produce AI-generated videos end-to-end — from idea and storyboard to model selection, prompt craft, generation, edit, sound, and finish.
Design alongside video — Develop visual identities, key art, ad creative, social design, and product UI moments for MarkGrid and client work. Comfort with both motion and still is non negotiable.
Own a distinctive visual point of view — Push past the default AI aesthetic. Build looks and styles other people can't easily copy. Develop reusable style references, LoRAs, model stacks, and prompt systems that become MarkGrid's creative IP.
Stay on the bleeding edge — Be hands-on with new-age AI video models the day they ship. Test Sora, Veo, Runway Gen-4, Kling, Hailuo, Pika, Luma, plus image and design tools like Midjourney, Flux, Ideogram, Krea, Figma, and the Adobe stack.
Tie creative to strategy — Partner with strategy and copy to translate brand thinking — including Share of Model™ work — into creative people scroll back to watch.
What we're looking for
Taste over volume — A portfolio that shows taste. We care more about three pieces of work that made us stop scrolling than thirty that didn't.
Real AI video chops — Demonstrated, recent, hands-on work with generative video models. You should be able to talk about the difference between Veo 3 and Sora 2 the way a photographer talks about lenses.
Design instincts — Strong fundamentals in design — typography, composition, color, hierarchy. AI is a tool; craft is the moat.
Conceptual rigor — Clear thinking about why a piece of creative works, and the discipline to kill ideas that don't.
Post-production fluency — Editing chops in Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, or After Effects. Comfort with sound design and pacing.
Speed and ownership — You ship. You iterate. You don't need a 40-person production crew to get something live.
Bonus points
You've trained your own LoRAs or built custom style models.
You have a personal creative practice — a side project, a Substack, a film, a zine — that proves you make things because you can't not.
Experience designing for performance creative (paid social, DR) as well as brand.
Interest in Indian and global advertising history — the Padamsee, Pandey, Goodby, Droga lineage of ideas.
What you'll get
A direct line to the founder and a real say in how MarkGrid's creative voice is built.
Budget for the AI tools you actually need — model subscriptions, GPU credits, plugins, fonts, stock.
Work that ships to real clients, not pitch decks that die in folders.
Room to develop your own creative POV under the MarkGrid umbrella
