Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Inside Sales Executive to join our sales team. This role involves generating new business opportunities for our Tally accounting software products, including Tally Prime, Tally Multi User, Tally Server, Tally Software Services (TSS), add-ons, customizations, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), mobile apps, and other allied products. The Inside Sales Executive will report to the Head of New Customer Acquisition and will be responsible for lead generation, qualifying prospects, and contributing to the overall sales goals of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, databases, inbound inquiries, and outbound calls.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria and ensure they meet the requirements for further engagement.
2. Sales Outreach & Communication:
- Initiate contact with potential customers via phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to introduce Tally products and services.
- Present and promote Tally software solutions, emphasizing their features and benefits tailored to the prospect's needs.
3. Pipeline Management:
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by continuously sourcing new leads and nurturing existing ones.
- Schedule product demonstrations and meetings for the sales team to further engage qualified prospects.
4. Follow-Up & Relationship Building:
- Follow up with leads and prospects to provide additional information, answer questions, and address any concerns.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers to keep them engaged and informed about our offerings.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the New Customer Acquisition team to ensure alignment on strategies and targets.
- Use CRM software to track and manage lead activities, maintain accurate records, and update the status of opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates to the Head of New Customer Acquisition.
6. Market Research & Feedback:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or lead generation, preferably in the software or IT industry.
- Familiarity with Tally accounting software or similar products is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage potential customers and build relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software, email marketing tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
