Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 7 to 8 years of relevant experience to manage the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, payroll coordination, and budgeting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound financial knowledge, and the ability to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and labour laws while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and financial analysis.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance, ensuring timely filing of returns.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Prepare budgets, cash flow statements, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Process payroll in coordination with the HR department and ensure statutory deductions are accurately maintained.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities whenever required.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of accounting activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, Data Validation, Charts, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for creating dashboards, data visualisation, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
- Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Payroll Processing, and current labour laws.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP software and accounting systems.
- Knowledge of ROC compliance and Companies Act provisions.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
- Exposure to statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Leadership experience in managing or mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
