We are looking for a calm, responsible and trustworthy Night Pet Care Assistant to look after pets staying with us overnight.
The most important part of this role is ensuring that every pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Overnight Pet Supervision
- Monitor pets staying overnight and ensure their safety and comfort
- Conduct regular checks on all pets
- Ensure pets have access to clean water and a comfortable sleeping environment
- Follow individual feeding, medication and care instructions provided by the team
- Take pets for scheduled toilet breaks as per the facility routine
Pet Comfort & Well-being
- Comfort pets that are anxious or unsettled
- Observe any unusual behaviour or signs of discomfort
- Maintain a calm and peaceful environment during the night
- Immediately report emergencies or health concerns to the designated manager/contact person
Night Shift Maintenance
- Keep boarding and daycare areas clean and hygienic
- Clean up accidents promptly
- Prepare the facility for the morning team
- Ensure gates, doors and pet areas are secure at all times
Shift Handover
- Maintain a simple record of feeding, toilet breaks, medication and any unusual incidents
- Provide a clear handover to the morning team
What We’re Looking For
- Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
- Comfortable working night shifts independently
- Patient and calm around animals
- Alert and attentive, especially in emergency situations
- Previous experience with dogs or pet care is preferred
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
