Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation for residential and architectural projects. The candidate will work closely with architects and the project team to convert design concepts into precise construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and detailed plans using drafting software such as AutoCAD.
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details based on architectural designs.
Modify drawings as per instructions from architects and project leads.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings match project requirements.
Prepare submission drawings for local authority approvals when required.
Maintain proper documentation and organized drawing records for all projects.
Ensure drawings comply with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
Assist in preparing 3D views or presentation drawings when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Drafting.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other visualization software is an added advantage.
Good understanding of construction methods and architectural detailing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
Preferred Qualities
Ability to interpret architectural concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Interest in sustainable and eco-sensitive construction practices
