Position: Front Office Receptionist
Location: Lalganesh, Guwahati
Job Summary
We are looking for a courteous, well-presented, and organized Front Office Receptionist to manage the reception area and provide excellent customer service to patients visiting our diagnostic centre. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Register patients and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule appointments for diagnostic tests and consultations.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries.
- Guide patients regarding available diagnostic services, test preparations, and appointment timings.
- Handle billing, payment collection, and issue receipts.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and laboratory staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy standards.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report distribution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of hospital management software is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language.
- Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
