The Physiotherapist at Isa Rehab is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering customized physiotherapy care to patients with neurological, orthopedic, post-surgical, long-term ICU, geriatric, and palliative conditions. The role focuses on restoring functional mobility, improving quality of life, and supporting holistic rehabilitation goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Planning
- Conduct detailed assessments of patient physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with doctors and nursing teams.
- Set short-term and long-term goals for therapy and monitor progress.
Therapy & Treatment
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions: neuro-rehabilitation, musculoskeletal therapy, respiratory physiotherapy, and pain management techniques.
- Provide bedside therapy for long-term and immobile patients.
- Utilize equipment such as TENS, IFT, ultrasound therapy, and exercise tools when available.
Documentation & Evaluation
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and patient progress.
- Reassess treatment plans based on improvement or clinical changes.
Patient & Caregiver Education
- Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, posture correction, mobility aids, and fall prevention.
- Train caregivers in handling, positioning, and transfers where applicable.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and dietitians as part of holistic care.
- Participate in patient care meetings and family counseling sessions.
