Job Summary
We are seeking skilled ASIC Physical Design Engineers with experience in end-to-end Physical Design implementation for advanced ASIC/SoC designs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in timing closure, physical implementation, sign-off methodologies, and advanced EDA tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end ASIC Physical Design activities including Floorplanning, Power Planning, Placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), Routing, and ECO implementation.
- Drive timing closure by resolving setup, hold, transition, capacitance, and noise violations.
- Optimize designs for Performance, Power, and Area (PPA).
- Perform physical verification and support DRC, LVS, IR Drop, EM, and sign-off activities.
- Work closely with RTL, Design Verification, DFT, STA, and Architecture teams to achieve design convergence.
- Analyze and resolve implementation issues to meet project schedules and quality standards.
- Prepare implementation reports and support tape-out activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the complete ASIC Physical Design flow.
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Innovus and/or Synopsys ICC2.
- Expertise in Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, Routing, STA, Timing Closure, and Physical Verification.
- Experience with PrimeTime, StarRC, Calibre, or equivalent sign-off tools.
- Good understanding of low-power design methodologies.
- Scripting experience in TCL, Perl, Python, or Shell is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.
- 4–12 years of relevant experience in ASIC Physical Design.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
