Role Purpose
The Raw Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material flow from the Raw Material (RM) Store to all 12 production lines. This role owns the complete internal material supply chain within the factory—from weekly planning and daily material drawl coordination to ERP accuracy, rejection handling, and strict adherence to cross-functional SOPs.
Key Responsibilities1. Planning & RM Buffer Management
- Obtain and review the 1-week production schedule from the Planning Manager during the weekend meeting
- Maintain a minimum 2-day RM buffer stock in the production staging area
- Coordinate Material Requisition (MR) issuance with Planning and ensure timely material drawl from RM Stores
- Verify post-drawl physical quantities against ERP records in the staging area
2. Daily Material Delivery to Production Lines
- Participate in the 2:00 PM daily review with Planning Manager (next-day plan vs actuals)
- Ensure 80% of material issuance to all line supervisors before 5:30 PM
- Issue remaining 20% material post 6:00 PM as per revised schedule
- Ensure all stock transfers are accurately recorded in ERP across all 12 lines
- Complete material handover documentation for each line transfer
3. ERP Accuracy & Stock Reconciliation
- Follow up with RM Stores team for clearing pending/stuck ERP entries
- Perform daily closing stock reconciliation (Physical vs ERP)
- Ensure SFG (Semi-Finished Goods) stock is accurately maintained and secured both physically and in ERP
4. Rejection Management
- Morning rejections: Arrange and dispatch replacements by the same afternoon
- Afternoon rejections (before 4:00 PM): Arrange replacements for next morning
- Record all rejection and replacement transactions in ERP without delay
5. Housekeeping, Equipment & Wastage Control
- Maintain daily housekeeping of RM staging area (5S compliance)
- Ensure availability and condition of handling equipment (trolleys, bins, pallets)
- Report maintenance issues proactively
- Track and document material wastage during handling and transit
6. Reporting, Compliance & Escalation
- Update all assigned tasks in Bitrix as per SOP-005 on a daily basis
- Submit Weekly Material Flow MIS to Production Manager every Saturday
- Ensure cross-functional SOP compliance across Production, RM Stores, and Quality
- Escalate immediately to Production Manager in case of any disruption in material flow

- Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multiple departments
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems (Focus ERP preferred)
- Ability to manage time-critical material supply schedules
- High attention to detail in stock accuracy and reconciliation
- Strong understanding of shop-floor discipline and 5S practices
- Proficiency in task management systems (Bitrix or equivalent)
- Clear communication and proactive escalation capability
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/material coordination roles
- Experience in multi-line production environments is an added advantage
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
