About the Role
The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design and execution of retail interior projects, ensuring innovative concepts, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery. The role involves client interaction, concept development, space planning, coordination with production and site teams, and mentoring junior designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, brand guidelines, and project objectives.
- Develop innovative retail interior concepts and design presentations.
- Prepare mood boards, layouts, space planning, and design proposals.
- Create detailed working drawings including:
- Floor Plans
- Elevations
- Sections
- Ceiling Plans
- Electrical Layouts
- Joinery & Furniture Details
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
- Coordinate with estimation, production, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Conduct client presentations and incorporate design revisions.
- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, and design coordination.
- Ensure designs comply with project budgets and timelines.
- Review shop drawings before production.
- Guide and mentor junior interior designers.
- Stay updated with the latest retail design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of modular furniture, retail fixtures, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in retail interior design, fit-out, or commercial interiors.
- Experience handling luxury retail, showroom, or branded retail projects will be preferred.
