Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual and/or automated testing of applications, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Execute test cases and report test results with clear documentation
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings (Agile environment)
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and suggest preventive measures
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production validation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing/quality assurance
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with manual testing; exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is a plus
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
