To assess and manage speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders, improving patient safety, communication, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and swallow assessments
- Plan and deliver individualized therapy programs
- Manage dysphagia with safe swallow strategies and diet recommendations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Counsel patients and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, dietitians, and rehab team
- Monitor outcomes and ensure patient safety (aspiration risk)
Qualifications & Experience
- BASLP / MASLP – Mandatory
- 0–5 years of clinical experience
- Experience in geriatrics, neuro, stroke, or care homes preferred
