Social Media InternAbout SOR
SOR Group is a founder-led strategy, branding, and growth company.
We work across media, communications, business development, and creative, building brands, narratives, and operating systems for companies and institutions that want to matter.
Our work sits at the intersection of thinking and execution. Strategy is built with the expectation that it will be used. Creative is produced with the expectation that it will perform. Every output is tied to a real outcome.
The team operates as a group of high-agency generalists. People move across functions, take ownership early, and build things end-to-end, from idea to execution to iteration.
We work in small teams, on real timelines, with direct access to decision-making. The environment rewards clarity, speed, and independent thinking.
The Role
As a Social Media Intern, you'll work closely with our strategy, creative, and content teams to support the planning, research, and execution behind social media campaigns.
This role goes beyond posting content. You'll help identify trends, research industries, organize creative references, coordinate with creators, and contribute to the systems that keep campaigns moving.
You'll gain hands-on exposure to how social media strategy is built—from research and ideation to execution and reporting—while working on real client and internal SOR projects.
What You'll Do
- Research and shortlist creators based on defined criteria for various SOR initiatives and client campaigns
- Manage creator outreach through Instagram and other platforms, including sending messages, following up, tracking responses, and escalating conversations when required
- Maintain and update Notion databases, content trackers, and campaign documentation with accuracy and consistency
- Find and organize social media references, including reels, posts, campaigns, visual styles, content hooks, and editing formats for upcoming content
- Conduct research on industries, competitors, audiences, trends, and relevant topics to support content planning and strategy
- Assist in preparing social media audits, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables
- Stay updated on platform trends, creator ecosystems, and emerging content formats
What We're Looking For
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and other major social media platforms
- Ability to identify trends and understand what makes content engaging
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with Notion, Google Workspace, or Canva is a plus

Students, fresh graduates, or individuals passionate about social media, marketing, branding, or digital communications are encouraged to apply.
Prior internship experience isn't necessary. We're looking for people who are naturally curious, organized, proactive, and excited to learn how modern brands build and execute content strategies.
What Makes This Different
- You'll contribute to real client campaigns from day one
- You'll learn how strategy, research, creative, and execution work together to build high-performing content
- You'll work directly with experienced strategists, designers, and founders
