What you'll do:
Data and AI is a central function to Viasat that sits at the core of our Engineering organization and focuses on building Data Platforms, Products and Solutions leveraging innovative AI technology. The team maintains a center of excellence for Data and AI technology and related innovation, translating market needs into data products and services to enable market development and ensure we are constantly pushing the boundaries of our satellite based services.

This position is site-based. Site‑based employees work 3+ days (60%+) per week from a Viasat office or work location within a standard five‑day work week. Relocation assistance is available pending eligibility.
What you'll need:
- Education: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, IT or related field

Experience: This role is intended for someone with 0-3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience
-
Exposure to or desire to work with any of the following: Python, Java, C/C++, ReactJS, Ansible, Pytest and many more in Software Development and Test Automation.

Experience or curiosity about learning Linux.

Embracing the DevOps philosophy of product development, in addition to your development & test automation activities you are also required to provide operational support of the post-production deployment.
