Job Description – Senior DevOps & FinOps Engineer
Location - Bangalore , Chennai, Kerala
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps & FinOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, enhance platform reliability, and drive cloud cost optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and FinOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- Implement GitOps, DevOps, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Drive cloud cost optimization and governance initiatives.
- Implement tagging strategies, cost allocation models, and cloud budgeting.
- Manage Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and resource rightsizing.
- Develop cloud cost dashboards, utilization reports, and forecasting models.
- Optimize Kubernetes resource utilization and cloud spending.
Required Skills
- Strong Linux Administration experience.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Ansible.
- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
- Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Cloud networking, security, and governance.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
Experience
- 5+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Proven experience in cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- Experience supporting production-grade Kubernetes environments.
