Job Title: Pattern Designer – Foundry (Manhole Cover Division)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pattern Designer with hands-on exposure to foundry and ductile iron casting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design patterns, core boxes, and casting components.
- Apply shrinkage, machining allowances, and draft angles.
- Prepare and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve casting quality.
- Analyze casting defects and implement corrective design changes.
- Convert customer drawings into production-ready designs.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in foundry/casting industry.
- Knowledge of ductile iron casting, pattern making, and foundry processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); SolidWorks preferred.
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Foundry Engineering preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with practical shop-floor exposure.
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience and expertise).
