Job Description
Lochan & Co. operates across 135+ countries worldwide and regularly deploys consultants and experts internationally for various projects. We are looking for an Insurance Executive to manage the company’s domestic and international insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with insurance companies and brokers in India and internationally.
- Obtain and compare insurance quotations, premiums, coverage, exclusions and terms.
- Negotiate competitive insurance rates and suitable terms.
- Arrange and manage various types of insurance, including:
- Professional Indemnity / Professional Liability
- Building, Property, Office & Asset Insurance
- Vehicle / Motor Insurance
- Fire Insurance
- Domestic & International Travel Insurance
- Medical / Health & Group Mediclaim
- Arrange appropriate insurance coverage for experts travelling or deployed internationally.
- Research country-specific insurance requirements and identify suitable local/international insurers.
- Support project teams with insurance premium estimates and budgeting.
- Manage policy renewals, claims, documentation and insurance records.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in insurance, insurance broking, corporate/general insurance, or a related field.
- International insurance exposure will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of insurance processes and products.
- Strong skills in quotation comparison, negotiation and claims handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with insurers and brokers
