About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – GovTech Consulting & Key Accounts who will act as a trusted on-ground consultant and account owner for Government, PSU, and large institutional customers.
This is a strategic, client-facing role, where the individual will be deployed primarily at customer locations, owning relationships, nurturing key accounts, shaping GovTech solutions, and driving business through RFP-led engagements.
This role blends consulting mindset + sales ownership, ideal for someone who understands how Government works and knows how to convert relationships into sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities
Key Account Ownership
- Own and nurture strategic Government / PSU accounts
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned customers
- Build long-term relationships with senior officers, technical teams, and procurement stakeholders
- Be physically present at customer locations to ensure trust and continuity
GovTech Consulting & Solutioning
- Understand governance challenges, operational gaps, and policy objectives
- Translate business needs into technology-led GovTech solutions
- Work closely with presales, technical, and delivery teams for solution design
- Position solutions with clarity, credibility, and outcome focus
RFP & Tender Management
- Track and manage EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions
- Coordinate end-to-end RFP responses (technical + commercial)
- Ensure compliance with Government procurement norms
Business Development & Revenue Ownership
- Drive revenue growth within owned accounts
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain account plans, opportunity pipelines, and forecasts
- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of opportunities
Internal Coordination
- Act as a bridge between customer and internal teams
- Support contract finalization and smooth project handover
- Maintain CRM updates and structured documentation

Strong understanding of GovTech / e-Governance ecosystem
Hands-on experience in RFP / tender-based IT sales
Ability to handle long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication, persuasion, and presentation skills
Mature, patient, and professional approach to Government engagements
High integrity, sincerity, and follow-through mindset

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Science
- MBA (preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- Government / PSU IT sales
- GovTech, e-Governance, or System Integration projects
- Exposure to State/Central Government departments, PSUs, NICSI, GeM, or PSU procurement is a strong plus
