Position: Production Head
Location: Pune (Talawade Unit)
Industry: Heavy Fabrication / Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall production activities for heavy fabrication projects.
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Supervise shop floor operations, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, and project teams for seamless execution.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, safety protocols, and productivity improvements.
- Monitor production costs, optimize processes, and support audit compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor the production team.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in heavy fabrication industry (structural steel, plates, assemblies).
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, and shop planning.
- Proven leadership in managing large teams and complex projects.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, audit documentation, and export project requirements.
- Dynamic, result-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and capability.
