Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in Substation Design, Protection Systems, GIS/AIS Switchgear, SCADA, and Industrial Automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in designing electrical substations, protection systems, communication architecture, and utility-grade automation solutions while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Job Location: Pune, India.
Experience: 8 Years to 12 Years
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 33kV and above electrical substations (GIS/AIS).
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), Cable Schedules, and Wiring Diagrams.
- Perform load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and protection coordination.
- Design earthing systems, lightning protection systems, and cable sizing calculations.
- Select and configure transformers, switchgear, CTs, VTs, protection relays, and associated equipment.
- Develop SCADA architecture, RTU/PLC integration, communication networks, and control logic.
- Prepare technical specifications, BOMs, engineering calculations, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with automation, instrumentation, civil, mechanical, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, utility standards, and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
