Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and analytical Accounts Executive to oversee our complete financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, statutory compliance (GST/TDS), product costing, budget preparation, and managing critical cash flow projections.
This role is ideal for a professional with Min 5 years of experience who can bring financial discipline, accuracy, and strategic insight to our premium interior solutions and architectural products business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Accounting & Cash Flow Management
- Receivables & Payables: Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Follow up on outstanding client milestones and ensure timely, verified vendor payments.
- Weekly Cash Projections: Prepare and analyze weekly cash flow projections to ensure optimal liquidity for ongoing projects, procurement, and payroll.
- Banking Operations: Handle bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and day-to-day banking transactions.
2. Taxation & Compliance
- GST Filing & Reconciliation: Handle independent preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Regularly reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with books to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- TDS & Statutory Compliance: Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS accurately, and assist in filing quarterly TDS returns. Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations.
3. Strategic Financial Planning & Reporting
- Profit & Loss (P&L) Management: Maintain accuracy in the general ledger, perform month-end closing activities, and prepare comprehensive monthly P&L statements for management review.
- Costing & Pricing Analysis: Work closely with the procurement and design teams to calculate accurate project and product costing (for modular kitchens, windows, etc.) to safeguard profit margins.
- Budgeting: Prepare, monitor, and manage annual/quarterly company budgets, identifying variances and recommending cost-control measures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Strictly 5+ years of core accounting experience, preferably in the construction, interior design, manufacturing, or retail/showroom sectors.
- Education: B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
- Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Expert-level command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling formulas).
- Thorough practical knowledge of Indian taxation systems (GST laws, e-way bills, TDS sections).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, absolute integrity, high attention to detail, and the ability to present financial data clearly to upper management.
