Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading all maintenance activities in a control valve manufacturing plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems. This role supervises maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, and works closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to support high equipment availability, product quality, and continuous improvement. This position will be reporting to Manager – Materials and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance operations for machining, assembly, testing, material handling, and utility equipment

Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities

Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation-related issues

Ensure equipment reliability and uptime for critical manufacturing assets such as CNC machines, test benches, air compressors, cranes, forklifts, HVAC, and utility systems

Coordinate with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime and support smooth manufacturing flow

Monitor work orders, maintenance KPIs, spare parts consumption, and equipment history in the CMMS

Oversee installation, commissioning, relocation, and modification of machinery and plant equipment

Support calibration, inspection, and maintenance of test and measurement equipment used in valve manufacturing

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, plant standards, and statutory requirements

Supervise contractors and ensure maintenance work is executed safely and to specification

Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians

Support reliability improvement, energy efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives

Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement programs
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

10 to 12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Prior experience supervising maintenance teams in precision manufacturing, machining, assembly, or heavy engineering

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices

Working knowledge of CMMS and preventive maintenance systems

Strong understanding of shop-floor safety and compliance requirements
Preferred Experience
- Experience in control valve manufacturing, process equipment, or flow control manufacturing

Familiarity with CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, pressure testing equipment, compressors, and material handling systems

Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems

Exposure to TPM, Lean, or reliability-centered maintenance practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with tight delivery schedules
