We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team at a modern private tertiary-care hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Key Responsibilities
As Consultant Radiation Oncologist, you will:
- Assess and evaluate patients referred for radiation therapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on international evidence-based guidelines.
- Delineate target volumes and organs at risk for treatment planning.
- Prescribe radiation dose and fractionation schedules.
- Review and approve treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Physicist.
- Supervise radiation treatments and monitor patients throughout their treatment course.
- Manage treatment-related side effects and provide follow-up care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings.
- Work closely with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and oncology nurses.
- Develop departmental clinical protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor and train local physicians and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- MBBS with MD, DNB, DM, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Radiation Oncology.
- Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
- Minimum five (5) years of independent post-specialization experience in a recognized cancer center or tertiary hospital.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be given preference:
- IMRT
- VMAT
- IGRT
- SBRT/SABR
- SRS
- CT Simulation
- Image-guided radiotherapy workflows
- Multidisciplinary cancer management
- Commissioning or expanding radiotherapy services
International work experience is an advantage but not required.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
