Job Title: Factory Manager
Location: Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee end-to-end plant operations in our chemical manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality control, maintenance, safety compliance, inventory management, and achieving production targets while ensuring adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day factory operations and ensure smooth production.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to meet business targets.
- Lead production, maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and statutory regulations.
- Monitor product quality and implement process improvements.
- Control production costs, reduce wastage, and improve productivity.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Manage manpower planning, training, and performance.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods dispatch.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Preferred)
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 10–15+ years in chemical manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years as a Factory/Plant Manager or Production Head.
- Experience in handling chemical process plants is mandatory.
