The Finance Transformation team is seeking a Manager (M3) to lead a cross-functional team based in India, within the Finance Transformation GCC. This role is the India-site owner of Finance Transformation delivery spanning testing, automation, data analytics, business systems analysis, and data science disciplines.
This is not a shared-services or Finance Operations role. You will manage transformation talent — people who work against a roadmap, build capabilities, deliver automation throughput, and drive systems readiness. Your team’s success is measured by transformation velocity, roadmap delivery, and capability growth, not transactional SLAs alone.
You will report to the Director, Finance Data, Analytics & Automation (US-based) and sit within a capability-aligned tower under Finance Transformation. This structure is intentional: it keeps delivery accountability with leaders who own the roadmap and business outcomes and builds genuine technical depth in India rather than a catch-all resource pool.
Responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional team of 6–12 individual contributors spanning testing COE, automation, data analytics, BSA/BDA, and data science disciplines
Translate Finance Transformation roadmap priorities (set by US-based leaders) into quarterly delivery plans, sprint goals, and team OKRs
Drive execution against automation backlog, testing programs, and analytics enablement projects from scoping through deployment
Build India’s technical capability density by coaching team members on systems knowledge, testing strategy, automation best practices, and data architecture
Own hiring, performance calibration, and career development for your team; create clear growth pathways for individual contributors
Act as the primary India-site point of contact for Finance Transformation workstreams, synchronizing cross-geography operations and building trust with US counterparts
Translate roadmap priorities into engineering execution and surface engineering constraints back into roadmap decisions, serving as a strategic liaison rather than just a relay
Collaborate with peers in Finance and tech partners to ensure clean handoffs between transformation-built capabilities and operationally run processes
Ensure your team’s work is tightly aligned with product/platform dependencies, systems roadmaps, and agile delivery cadences
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior Finance Transformation leaders and IDC site leadership
Contribute to the evolution of the Finance Transformation GCC operating model, intake processes, and deploy resource fungibility frameworks
Champion the principle that work type, not location, determines reporting line — and model that accountability in how you manage the team
Own India's growth engine for Plan to Perform, driving capacity build-out and bench depth as Oracle ERP/EPM modernization scales across a multi-year roadmap
Carry site-level representation in India governance and CAO leadership cadences, partnering with Finance Ops GCC leadership on shared operating mechanisms
Qualifications
8–12+ years of total experience in Finance Technology, Finance Transformation, Business Systems Analysis, or a related field
3+ years of people management experience, with a track record of leading technical or analytical teams
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams delivering against a transformation roadmap (not just operational SLAs)
Hands-on experience with at least two of: automation (RPA, scripting, workflow tools), data analytics & BI platforms, ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite), or software testing / QA strategy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to influence without authority across geographies and seniority levels
Experience working in an agile delivery environment with US-based product or engineering partners
Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, cross-functional environments
Strong understanding of what Finance Transformation means operationally: roadmap-driven delivery, automation throughput, systems readiness, and analytics enablement
Experience building or scaling a GCC / Center of Excellence in India for a US-based technology or SaaS company
Familiarity with Finance Transformation frameworks: process mining, automation pipelines, data governance, or financial close optimization
Exposure to Intuit’s ecosystem or comparable SaaS platforms and their financial systems landscape
Advanced degree (MBA, M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent) or CA/CPA with strong technology orientation
Experience working with agile tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO) and modern data/automation platforms (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, Workato)
Familiarity with enterprise controls, SOX-adjacent compliance considerations, or financial system audit readiness
Track record of building career pathways and promoting talent from within a GCC or offshore delivery organization
