Job Summary
Warehouse International Private Limited is looking for a proactive and reliable Local Purchaser to handle day-to-day local procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing materials from the local market, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement of required items. The candidate must own a personal two-wheeler for local market visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase raw materials, consumables, maintenance items, and other requirements from the local market.
- Identify and develop new local vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Visit vendors regularly for quotations, order placement, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production or operational delays.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost comparison reports.
- Coordinate with the Store, Purchase, and Accounts departments.
- Verify material quality and quantity before accepting deliveries.
- Maintain purchase records, bills, invoices, and vendor details.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of local purchasing and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, Email).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement tasks.
- Good understanding of market rates and sourcing.
- Honest, responsible, and result-oriented attitude.
Eligibility
- Experience: 1–2 years in local purchasing or procurement.
- Qualification: Any Graduate / Any Qualification.
- Must have: Personal two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Good knowledge of the local market in Greater Noida, Noida, Delhi NCR, and nearby industrial areas.
- Immediate joiners and local candidates will be preferred.
