Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer invoicing, payment collection, account reconciliation, and credit management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and aging reports.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
- Process and record incoming payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and payment histories.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve account issues.
- Prepare monthly AR reports and assist with financial close activities.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and account information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Tally).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems and automated billing platforms.
- Knowledge of credit control and collections processes.
- Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment.
