Position: Sr. Manager- Human Resources
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-oriented Sr. Manager - Human Resources to lead our end-to-end HR operations. This role is crucial for an exceptional employee experience, from onboarding to off-boarding, ensuring data integrity and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling HR operations in rapidly growing organizations (50 to 200, 200 to 500, 500 to 1000+ employees), extensive expertise in HRIS/HRMS management, a deep understanding of Indian labor laws, and a passion for continuous process improvement and HR technologies.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee and optimize the entire employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, promotions, and off-boarding. Develop and refine HR policies, manage employee benefits, handle grievances, and conduct exit interviews.
HRIS/HRMS Management & Data Integrity: Administrate the HRIS/HRMS, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity. Manage HR data entry, updates, and reporting, generating insights for HR and leadership. Leverage HRIS functionalities for process streamlining and ensure data privacy compliance.
Compliance & Legal Adherence: Stay updated on Indian labor laws and ensure strict adherence to all applicable laws (e.g., Factories Act, Provident Fund, ESI, Gratuity, Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labor Act). Oversee statutory report preparation and submission, and conduct internal audits.
Process Improvement & HR Tech Implementation: Identify inefficiencies, design and implement streamlined HR processes, and recommend new HR technologies (e.g., payroll, ATS, performance management tools). Lead the HR tech implementation and integration.
Payroll & Attendance Management (in collaboration with Finance): Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and overlook attendance and leave systems. Resolve payroll queries.
Support & Collaboration: Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, collaborate with departments (Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal), and contribute to HR initiatives.
Performance Management & Appraisals: Design, implement, and manage performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and appraisal processes. Support managers in conducting effective performance discussions and facilitate calibration sessions.
Experience: 7+ years progressive HR Operations experience, with 3-5 years in a senior or leadership capacity. Demonstrated experience scaling HR operations for organizations growing from 50 to 700+ employees, including adapting processes and systems for rapid expansion. Extensive hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS platform.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliances, and regulations. Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operational processes. Strong analytical skills for HR data interpretation and insights. Proficiency in Google Suite.
