About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, from requirement gathering and process mapping to configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
The ideal candidate should have strong ERP implementation, project management, business process, stakeholder, and vendor management experience. The candidate will work closely with clients, CXOs, internal teams, ERP consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ERP implementation projects from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.
- Understand client business processes and gather detailed business requirements.
- Conduct process mapping and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Prepare and manage project plans, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Lead internal project teams, ERP consultants, developers, and external vendors.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders, including management, department heads, process owners, and CXOs.
- Ensure ERP configuration aligns with business requirements and operational processes.
- Coordinate data migration, system configuration, integration, testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Plan and conduct end-user training and support user adoption.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, issues, and implementation challenges.
- Manage vendor and consultant relationships and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare project status reports, MIS, documentation, and management updates.
- Provide post-go-live support and ensure successful stabilization of the ERP system.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the ERP system delivers measurable business value.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation and project management.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP modules and business processes such as:
- Finance & Accounting
- Purchase & Procurement
- Inventory & Stores
- Sales & Distribution
- Production / Manufacturing
- HR / Payroll
- Quality Management
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and ERP workflows.
- Excellent project planning and execution skills.
- Strong stakeholder and client management capabilities.
- Experience in vendor and consultant management.
- Strong risk, issue, and change management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree such as MBA, MS in IT, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Experience in ERP consulting, implementation, or system integration.
- Experience working with manufacturing or other process-driven industries will be an added advantage.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Oracle, ERPNext, Epicor, or similar systems will be preferred.
