About the Role
Website 2 Design is looking for a passionate and self-driven Web Developer Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience building modern websites and web applications for real clients.
You'll work on live projects using modern technologies including React, Next.js, WordPress, and cloud databases while collaborating with designers and developers. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new technologies, solving problems, and continuously improving their skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive websites and web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress.
- Work with WordPress page builders including Elementor, Gutenberg, Bricks, and Divi.
- Integrate applications with Supabase and Firebase.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Build responsive, fast, SEO-friendly websites following modern best practices.
- Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and user experience.
- Collaborate with designers and team members to deliver high-quality projects.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement effective solutions.
- Create and maintain clean, reusable code and project documentation.
- Learn and work with additional CMS platforms such as Framer, Webflow, Wix, Shopify, and other tools as required.
- Stay updated with modern web development technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Good understanding of React.js.
- Basic knowledge of Next.js.
- Basic JavaScript knowledge.
- Experience working with WordPress.
- Basic understanding of Supabase or Firebase.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Basic knowledge of Canva for simple graphics.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to continuously learn.
Additional Expectations
- Willing to learn and implement ADA (Accessibility) Compliance best practices.
- Willing to learn website compliance standards including GDPR and CCPA.
- Willing to quickly learn new frameworks, CMS platforms, AI tools, and technologies based on project requirements.
- Open to continuous feedback and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing websites or web applications.
- Familiarity with Git is a plus.
