Job Description – Service Engineer

Role Summary
The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial cleaning machines at client locations. This role involves field service, technical support, preventive maintenance, repairs, and customer training to ensure maximum equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
Machines to Handle / Maintain
- Ride-on battery-operated scrubber dryer floor cleaning machines
- Electric walk-behind scrubber dryer floor cleaning machines
- Industrial vacuum cleaners (single-phase & three-phase)
- Ride-on & walk-behind sweepers
- Battery-operated industrial sweepers
- Floor polishing & buffing machines (if required)
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Service Operations
- Installation, commissioning & testing of machines
- Preventive & breakdown maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical & battery-related faults
- Battery maintenance & charging system troubleshooting
- Maintain spare parts, tools, and consumables
- Conduct machine demo, handover & user training
Customer Service & Support
- Provide technical support to customers on site & via call
- Enhance customer satisfaction through prompt service
- Maintain professional behavior and build good client relations
Coordination & Reporting
- Submit daily service reports/job cards in company system
- Report repeated failures, spare needs, and site feedback
- Work closely with Service Manager & Sales Team
Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, DC motors, chargers & controllers
- Basic mechanical, hydraulic & electronic troubleshooting
- Ability to read wiring diagrams & service manuals
- Experience in industrial equipment servicing preferred
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI – Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics
- Engineering graduates may also apply
Experience
- 1–5 years in service/maintenance of industrial machines preferred
Other Requirements
- Ability to travel & work on-site across assigned region
- Two-wheeler & valid driving license preferred
- Good communication & reporting skills
Compensation
Full-Time
As per industry standards + Travel Allowance + Incentives
