About Sora
Sora is a multidisciplinary design studio dedicated to celebrating traditional Indian craftsmanship through a contemporary lifestyle lens. We collaborate directly with artisanal clusters across India to develop unique, handmade products utilizing diverse materials (wood, metal, terracotta, ceramics, and textiles). Our designs blend heritage techniques with a modern aesthetic, bringing the soul of Indian crafts into contemporary homes.
The Role: Creative & Branding Assistant
We are looking for a versatile, proactive, and visually-driven Creative Assistant to help elevate our brand presence and streamline our daily creative operations. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel we will provide the core vision, concepts, and direction for everything. Your role will be to take those ideas and bring them to life efficiently.
This position requires a dedicated block of hours every day focused entirely on building, maintaining, and polishing the visual identity and branding of Sora Studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Social Media: Plan and execute product photoshoots; conceptualize, edit, and produce engaging Instagram Reels/short-form video content based on studio concepts.
- Cataloging: Organize, curate, and maintain digital product catalogs, ensuring accurate details, aesthetics, and alignment with the brand voice.
- Digital & Graphic Design: Assist with basic logo refinement, promotional graphics, and brand collateral layout.
- Website Design & Maintenance: Help design, update, and optimize our e-commerce website layout to ensure a seamless, visually stunning user experience.
- Brand Consistency: Dedicate set daily hours to ensure all public-facing platforms strictly adhere to the studio's design language.
What We Are Looking For:
- A strong eye for curation, styling, and contemporary aesthetics (a background in design, styling, or multimedia is a major plus).
- Proficiency in basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing apps.
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, e-commerce web design platforms (e.g., Shopify, Squarespace).
- Reliability, excellent communication, and the ability to strictly manage a set daily schedule.
