Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned, well-versed, and highly proficient accounting professional to lead our Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, and Compliance functions. As the Finance & Accounts Head, you will act as a trusted financial advisor to the top leadership, ensuring robust internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and efficient working capital management across multiple business entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Governance: End-to-end management of the finance and accounts function, ensuring finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Compliance & Audits: Own 100% statutory compliance across GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, and Companies Act/ROC. Independently manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Treasury & Working Capital: Optimize cash flows, manage banking relationships, and oversee credit lines and funding limits.
- FP&A & Reporting: Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and deliver highly accurate leadership/Board-level financial dashboards (MIS) within agreed timelines.
- Cost Control: Monitor product/business-unit profitability, flag cost overruns promptly, and implement process automation via ERP.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a multi-location finance team, ensuring capability building and low attrition.
Ideal Candidate ProfileEducation
- Base: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com / BBA).
- Preferred qualifications (Highly Preferred): CA (Qualified/Inter) OR ICMAI/CMA (Qualified/Inter).
- Added Advantage: M.Com / MBA (Finance).
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a solid track record in a Finance Head / Controller equivalent role.
- Expertise: Deep technical expertise in accounting standards, direct/indirect taxation, and corporate law.
- Systems: Hands-on proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or equivalent) and advanced MS Excel.
- Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management skills (dealing with promoters, banks, and auditors) combined with high integrity and ownership.
