We are seeking a skilled and passionate Roll Chef to join our culinary team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of rolls, wraps, kebabs, and quick-service food items while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent food quality, efficient kitchen operations, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian rolls, wraps, kebabs, and related menu items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation as per standard recipes.
- Handle food preparation, marination, grilling, and cooking processes efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and ingredients.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Minimize food wastage and optimize ingredient utilization.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Assist in menu development and introduction of new roll varieties when required.
Eligibility Criteria:Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Class X / Higher Secondary preferred.
- Culinary training or hospitality certification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Roll Chef, Tandoor Chef, Fast Food Chef, or similar role.
- Experience in preparing Kolkata-style Kathi Rolls, Mughlai items, kebabs, and quick-service food is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
