Job Summary
The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the organization's technical strategy, software development teams, project execution, and technology innovation initiatives. The role involves managing technical resources, ensuring high-quality software delivery, driving architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Architecture
- Define, implement, and guide technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate, recommend, and select appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable system architecture.
- Drive technology modernization initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Establish technical standards, development guidelines, and best practices across projects.
Code Review & Quality Assurance
- Oversee coding standards and conduct technical reviews to ensure code quality.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices and design principles.
- Promote automated testing, quality assurance processes, and test-driven development practices.
- Champion CI/CD implementation and DevOps culture across teams.
- Monitor software quality metrics and ensure timely defect resolution.
Problem Solving & Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and direction for complex development challenges.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical and architectural issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Research & Development (R&D)
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and platforms for potential business adoption.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and innovation projects.
- Recommend technology improvements that enhance productivity and business value.
Team Management
Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and manage software developers, engineers, QA professionals, and technical teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Mentor team members in technical competencies, leadership skills, and career growth.
- Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across teams.
Hiring & Onboarding
- Participate in workforce planning and technical recruitment activities.
- Conduct technical interviews and candidate evaluations.
- Support onboarding, training, and integration of new team members.
Performance Management
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Define KPIs, goals, and development plans for team members.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Identify training needs and facilitate skill enhancement programs.
Project Management
Planning & Execution
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, project plans, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define project scopeand priorities.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges.
Resource Allocation
- Allocate resources based on project requirements, technical expertise, and workload.
- Manage team capacity and optimize resource utilization.
- Resolve resource conflicts and ensure effective workload distribution.
Risk Management
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure business continuity through proper contingency planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Operations, and Business teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent the technology team in client meetings, management reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Support business development initiatives by providing technical insights and solutions.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular project status reports and team performance updates to the COO.
- Present technical recommendations and strategic initiatives to senior management.
- Maintain clear project documentation, technical specifications, and process records.
- Ensure effective communication across teams and departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹225,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
