An Electrical Engineer in the crane manufacturing industry designs, tests, and maintains power and control systems for EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling) cranes, hoists, and gantry systems. - Electrical Design & Layout: Create single-line diagrams, control circuit schematics, panel layouts, and cable schedules using tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical. [1, 4]
- Component Selection: Choose properly rated crane components, including motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), contactors, relays, limit switches, and safety brakes. [, 3]
- Panel Assembly & Wiring: Oversee or perform electrical control panel wiring, integration, and shop-floor quality checks. [1, 2, 3]
- Testing & Commissioning: Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and execute on-site erection, testing, and commissioning of crane systems. [1, 2, 3]
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve electrical, automation, or drive faults during production or at client sites. [1, 2, 4]

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in EOT/gantry crane manufacturing, heavy engineering, or material handling equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of crane electrification, AC/DC drives, control logic, and basic PLC automation.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD tools or specialized electrical design software.
