Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth for our Medical Tourism division. The candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, hotels, travel partners, and international clients to enhance the company's medical tourism services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with hospitality partners, and ensuring seamless accommodation arrangements for medical travelers.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the medical tourism sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, and international referral partners.
- Develop strategic alliances with hotels, serviced apartments, and hospitality providers to ensure quality accommodation options for patients and attendants.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with hotel partners and vendors.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Hotel & Hospitality Management
- Source and onboard suitable hotel partners near major healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate special accommodation packages for international and domestic medical travelers.
- Ensure hotel partners maintain agreed service standards for patients and their families.
- Resolve accommodation-related issues and maintain high client satisfaction levels.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and manage relationships with international agencies, facilitators, embassies, and corporate clients.
- Conduct presentations and business meetings with potential partners.
- Provide customized medical travel and accommodation solutions based on client requirements.
- Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the patient journey.
Marketing & Promotion
- Participate in trade fairs, healthcare conferences, and networking events.
- Support digital marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at increasing medical tourism business.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote healthcare and hospitality packages.
Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and partnerships.
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management.
- Monitor revenue generation, occupancy utilization, and partner performance metrics.
- Recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Development, Medical Tourism, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or Healthcare Services.
- Strong understanding of hotel contracting, healthcare services, and international patient management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
