Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques, ensuring strong, precise, and quality welds according to drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding as required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces
- Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Repair and rework defective welds when necessary
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Welding or equivalent
- Proven experience as a welder
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Physically fit and detail-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
