Job Summary:We are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and process compliance in our machine shop manufacturing environment.Freshers with strong technical knowledge and experienced candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of machined components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and ISO requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve product quality.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels and support improvement activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process enhancement projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, 5 Why Analysis, and Problem-Solving Techniques.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to CNC machining and machine shop processes.
- Experience in handling customer quality requirements (for experienced candidates).
Experience Requirement
- Freshers: Basic knowledge of quality inspection, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- 0–3 Years Experience: Hands-on experience in machine shop/manufacturing quality activities, inspection, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
