We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer (Mechanical) to lead mechanical maintenance activities and ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Monitor the performance of plant machinery and utility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
- Lead maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure proper maintenance of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, and production equipment
- Coordinate with production, electrical, and utility teams for smooth plant operations
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation
- Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures
- Support installation, commissioning, and improvement projects
Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within Dairy / FMCG / Manufacturing industry
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and plant operations
- Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Team management and leadership ability
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and documentation
