We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, assembly, and fitting of mechanical equipment and machinery
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Repair and replace damaged machine parts and components
- Assist in equipment alignment, dismantling, and reassembly
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance instructions
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Maintain maintenance records and work reports
Qualification
- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical or relevant trade
Experience
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Fitter in Dairy / FMCG / Manufacturing industry
Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance
- Experience in pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and production equipment
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
