Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain the inventory of raw materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment for the production department.
· Coordinate with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
· Monitor stock levels and reorder materials proactively to prevent shortages or production delays.
· Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of items in the store in accordance with safety and quality standards.
· Inspect and verify incoming materials for quantity, quality, and specifications.
· Maintain accurate records of material movements, issue slips, and stock transfers using ERP or manual systems.
· Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize losses, wastage, or obsolescence.
· Supervise store personnel, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to company policies.
· Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams for material delivery and returns.
· Participate in audits, stock verifications, and reporting to senior management.
· Support maintenance and production teams in troubleshooting and providing required spares.
· Knowledge of various types of plastic pipes,plates etc.
· Knowledge of various types of welding m/c
· Knowledge of various types of pipe supports
· Knowledge of various types of fittings, hardware, gaskets etc.
· Maintain proper inwards & outwards record
· To issue materials only as per authorised requisition notes
· Ensuring that the store is kept clean & organised
· Reconciliation of materials on weekly basis
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
· Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in store management or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of inventory management, storage procedures, and material handling.
· Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Good organizational and planning skills.
· Strong communication and team management skills.
· Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in manufacturing and warehousing.
· Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Work Environment:
· Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to production equipment.
· May involve handling heavy materials and occasional physical activity.
Reporting & KPIs:
· Timely availability of materials for production.
· Accuracy of inventory records.
· Reduction of material wastage and stock-outs.
· Compliance with safety and quality standards.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
