We are looking for an experienced and proactive Chief Engineer to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all engineering systems, maintaining safety standards, and leading the engineering team to deliver efficient and uninterrupted hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, elevators, and other engineering systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Lead and supervise the engineering team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with fire & life safety regulations, statutory requirements, and hotel safety standards.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, installations, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Prepare maintenance budgets, manage engineering inventories, and control departmental expenses.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- 8–12 years of engineering experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a Chief Engineer or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems, preventive maintenance, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
