Job Responsibilities
1. Checking the functionality of the lab and its equipment which involve:
a. Checking humidity and temperature while ensuring that they are at their optimum level.
b. Cleaning K System and other instruments with alcohol.
c. Checking airflow from the meter.
d. Checking CO2 level and pH of the incubators
e. Checking liquid Nitrogen
2. Ensuring that all the prerequisites for successful execution of the cases scheduled for the day.
3. Assisting the embryologist in the procedures and even consultants if required.
4. Handling, counselling and attending to needs and queries of the patient who come for semen sample analysis.
5. Assisting embryologist for processing of IUI and other samples by preparing slides and finally handling reporting formalities of samples.
6. Keeping a track of appointments for Cryo-freezing, IUI and trial samples and gathering the required material and equipment.
7. Technician lab responsibility for Andros.
8. Maintaining registers of all kind of procedures along with digital data maintenance as and when required.
9. Working in coordination with the IVF coordinator for processing of IUI and other IVF related samples. Keeping a track of the progress of all kinds of IVF patients.
Requirements:
- A Registered nursing license.
- GNM or BS.c in nursing.
- 3 years' experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members.
- Working knowledge of IVF LAB /Gynae specialized equipment.
- The ability to work in a team.
- The ability to offer comfort to ill newborns.
