Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. The Finance Executive will be responsible for assisting with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for
internal and external stakeholders.
● Conduct financial analysis and research to support decision-making processes and
strategic initiatives.
● Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and trend
analysis.
● Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
and recommending corrective actions.
● Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts.
● Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries,
account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
● Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyse financial data and ensure
accuracy and completeness.
● Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures,
and controls.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
● Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Required Skills and Competencies:
● Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting,
forecasting, and cost control.
● Compliance: Should have knowledge of GST filing and TDS filing.
● Strategic Vision: Ability to align financial goals with business objectives and manage
risks.
● Leadership: Experience in leading teams, collaborating across departments, and
managing change.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, data analytics, and reporting
tools.
● Communication: Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
● Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and
corporate governance.
● Analytical Thinking: Critical problem-solving and attention to detail.
● Integrity: Ethical standards, transparency, and confidentiality in handling financial
matters.
● Adaptability: Staying updated on financial trends and technologies.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
● 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
and trends.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
● Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
