Key Responsibilities and Role Components:
- Instruction & Curriculum Development: Develops and implements lesson plans covering topics like programming (e.g., Python), robotics, software applications (MS Office), and internet safety.
- Classroom & Lab Management: Maintains computer hardware and software, ensuring equipment is functional and the lab is organized.
- Student Assessment & Support: Evaluates student performance through projects and tests, providing feedback and, when necessary, tutoring.
- Skill Development: Encourages logical thinking, creativity, and technical skills through hands-on, interactive learning projects.
- Communication: Reports student progress to parents and collaborates with staff to integrate technology into the broader curriculum.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and coding languages.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Pedagogical Skills: Ability to teach, motivate, and manage middle school-aged students effectively.
