We are looking for a PLC/SCADA Engineer with hands-on experience in Mitsubishi iQ-R PLC platform and Genesis64 SCADA development for Industrial Automation projects.
The candidate should have strong expertise in PLC logic development, SCADA application development, commissioning, troubleshooting, and industrial communication systems. Candidate should be comfortable working on-site and coordinating with customers during project execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 PLC/SCADA programmers and engineers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project standards. Own the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, commissioning, and deployment.
Review PLC logic, SCADA applications, and HMI developments to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide technical guidance during project execution.
Drive standardization and optimization of automation software libraries, reusable modules, and engineering documentation. Coordinate with customers, consultants, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.
Lead FAT, SAT, site commissioning, validation, and customer acceptance activities.
Support manpower planning, project estimation, resource allocation, and risk assessment for multiple projects.
Conduct technical interviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to capability-building initiatives within the organization.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training on Mitsubishi iQ-R PLCs, Genesis64 SCADA, and industrial communication protocols.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC/SCADA systems with MES, databases, IoT platforms, and third-party systems.
Define software architecture and implement scalable automation solutions for large-scale industrial projects. Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex site issues and provide technical leadership during critical project phases. Participate in customer meetings to understand business requirements and propose automation solutions.
