About the Role
As a Holiday Consultant, you are the face of our sales and the person who turns a traveller's dream into a booking. You will engage qualified leads, understand exactly what each customer wants, present the right packages, and close the sale. This is a target- and incentive-driven role — the more you sell, the more you earn.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Conversion
- Engage with qualified leads passed on by the telecalling team.
- Understand each customer's needs, budget, and travel preferences.
- Recommend and present suitable tour packages with confidence and clarity.
- Explain itineraries, inclusions, pricing, and visa basics accurately.
- Prepare and share customised quotes and proposals.
- Follow up consistently and close sales to meet and exceed monthly targets.
Customer Relationship
- Build trust and rapport so customers choose Romford Holidays.
- Provide a smooth, professional experience from first contact to booking.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to hand over confirmed bookings cleanly.
- Maintain post-sale contact to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Product Knowledge & Records
- Develop deep knowledge of our European and international tour packages.
- Stay updated on destinations, pricing, and offers.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, quotes, follow-ups, and bookings in the CRM.
- Document your sales process so it can support team training.
You will report directly to the General Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a sales / travel consultant (travel industry preferred).
- Proven ability to close sales and consistently hit targets.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused, confident, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working with targets and incentives.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam
- Knowledge of European / international destinations is a strong plus.
