Position: Design Engineer - R & D
Qualification: Advanced Diploma in die & mould / Diploma in Tool & die manufacturing from Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC)/ B. Tech Mechanical.
Experience : 0-2 Years
Job Description :
- Designing of Sheet Metal Single-stage Tooling like Blanking, Bending, etc.
- Designing of Simple Moulds i.e. single cavity without slider.
- Designing / Drafting of Child parts for new development.
- Designing / Drafting of Assembled / Finished Products.
- Designing of Machine Spares, gauges, jigs and fixtures.
- Initial Part Detailing (Drawings) for Child parts and Finished Product.
- Assist Sr. Designers with Tool Designing of Press Tools and Moulds.
Skills Required :
- Engineering Drawing: First angle, Third angle, Dimensioning & Tolerance.
- Instrument Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer.
- Types of machining process: Conventional – Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Hexa. Non-Conventional – EDM, EDM Drilling, Laser Cutting, Water Jet Cutting.
- Knowledge of design software like Pro-E, Solid Works or Creo.
- Basic Knowledge of Plastic Manufacturing: Moulds, Types of Gates, Types of Runners.
- Ability to design/ draft a child part component.
- Knowledge of material properties under stress like malleability, ductility, creep, elasticity.
- Progressive tool designing.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
