- Design and develop robotic joints, link structures, and actuation assemblies, ensuring mechanical strength, alignment, and efficient load handling.
- Select, size, and integrate actuators, transmissions, and gear systems for smooth, precise, and reliable motion.
- Develop and implement forward/inverse kinematics, dynamics models, and advanced control algorithms (position, velocity, torque, impedance, etc.).
- Build and maintain motion planning, trajectory generation, and real-time control pipelines.
- Convert mechanical designs into URDF/SDF robot descriptions and integrate them with simulation, ROS 2, and robot control frameworks.
- Integrate sensors including encoders, IMUs, force/torque sensors, current sensors, and cameras, and develop robust feedback-driven control systems.
- Develop and integrate Vision-Language-Action (VLA) pipelines to enable perception-guided robotic manipulation and autonomous task execution.
- Validate robotic systems through simulation, tuning, prototyping, testing, and iterative optimization.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, AI, and software teams to deliver reliable, intelligent, and high-performance robotic systems.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience required. (Industrial Experience)
- Strong foundation in robotics, including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and robotic actuation.
- Strong knowledge of ROS 2, including nodes, topics, services, actions, TF2, MoveIt 2, and hardware integration.
- Experience with mechanical systems, actuators, CAD software, transmissions, and basic structural/load analysis.
- Proficiency in robotics simulation and control tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Vision-Language-Action (VLA) architectures and their integration with robotic perception, planning, and manipulation.
- Ability to convert mechanical designs into URDF/SDF models and integrate them into simulation and real-world robotic workflows.
- Experience integrating perception systems, sensors, and real-time feedback control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building intelligent, end-to-end robotic systems from concept to deployment.
