Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to business requirements.
- Create and customize WordPress themes and templates.
- Develop, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and functional WordPress websites.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, user-friendly, and cross-browser compatible.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website, plugin, theme, and hosting-related issues.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, security checks, and maintenance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, forms, and other required tools.
- Work with databases, particularly MySQL, for website development and troubleshooting.
- Implement website security best practices and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, SEO teams, and other developers.
- Monitor website performance and ensure high availability and functionality.
- Manage website migrations, domain/hosting configurations, and deployment when required.
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress technologies, plugins, security practices, and web development trends.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress CMS.
- Good knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.
- Knowledge of MySQL/database management.
- Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website speed and performance optimization.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Knowledge of WordPress security and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git/version control is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
